Great Wall Motors Niger 4S Store Project
Project Overview
Great Wall Motor, a leading Chinese manufacturer of SUVs and pickup trucks, has been actively expanding into the African market in recent years. Niger, an important landlocked country in West Africa with strong demand for vehicles, prompted Great Wall Motor to establish its first brand 4S dealership there to enhance brand visibility and after-sales service capabilities.
Qingdao Shibo Jieyun International Logistics undertook the end-to-end logistics for this 4S dealership project, including the cross-border shipment of the initial 6 display vehicles, 2 after-sales service equipment, complete sets of maintenance and specialized tools, construction materials, office supplies, and the first batch of frequently used spare parts. The cargo includes whole-vehicle transport, large-scale equipment, and loose-part shipments via a route from Chinese ports by sea to Cotonou Port in Benin, followed by inland transport to Niamey, the capital of Niger.
Our team has been deeply involved from the project's inception, assisting clients with vehicle export registration, parts classification declaration, and import licensing in the destination country. We developed a phased shipping plan to ensure 4S stores open on schedule.
